Liz Bartucci is one of those rare individuals that can blend her creative skills to create a unique and recognizable style all her own. Known for her beautiful calligraphy and unique style of illustration, she shares her distinctive art each week on Instagram. Liz captures the spirit of pop culture icons and their infamous words, using a combination of stipple illustration and calligraphy to create much coveted works of art. As part of a collaboration with Parse & Parcel, we are thrilled to debut, The Designer Series, a collection of prints inspired by Liz’ passion project on Instagram, Sunday Sketches.
I first met Liz last year on a collaboration with Mohawk & The Paper Chronicles for the National Stationery Show. Liz created an illustrated map of stationery stores in NYC for attendees of NSS. It was so lovely, and a big hit with attendees. So when Liz approached me about an idea she had for P&P subscribers, I was definitely interested.
THE DESIGNER SERIES
We’re collaborating with Liz to bring her passion project to print! And we’re launching The Designer Series exclusively to Parse & Parcel subscribers in the current issue of The Parcel. The collection features four prints of the industry’s most beloved designers: Massimo Vignelli, Louise Fili, James Victore and Ray & Charles Eames.
Each print pairs Liz’ distinct style of illustration and calligraphy, celebrating these designers and their inspirational quotes. The prints are produced on 100# Mohawk Superfine Eggshell Cover in Ultrawhite. We packaged each print with Curious Translucent Clear paper slip sheets. And enclosed them in Strathmore Pastelle Felt Cover – complete with deckle edge, twine and wax seal.
These prints are part of the collection of print and paper samples currently in The Winter Issue of The Parcel, now shipping through February.
Liz creates stunning custom work featuring her calligraphy for weddings and events. She currently has her custom font, Prosciutto, available on Creative Market. And Liz will be launching her stationery line, Alva Mae Evans, this spring! Look for her to feature work from The Designer Series among other pieces.
